As workload and budget concerns increase, we often feel frustrated,
powerless, irritated, angry, or resigned. At times we may even think that
our coworkers are selfish, don't care, or don't want to help. These
negative thoughts are more frequent when we are tired; however, they tend
to increase neck and shoulder tensions. Relax, reduce worksite tension,
and spread caring and hope when you EXHALE GOODWILL.

HOW TO SEND GOODWILL:

Sit quietly and focus on diaphragmatic breathing. Allow your abdomen to
expand with each inhalation and decrease with each exhalation. Allow each
exhalation to go slower and slower.

While breathing slowly, recall a memory when you felt happy, peaceful and
loved. For a few minutes allow yourself to relive this past memory and
experience the positive feelings.

Then think of someone who irritates you or with whom you have a conflict.
The moment you think of that person begin to exhale slowly and imagine
that your breath flows towards that person carrying the feeling and intend
of goodwill.

Practice sending goodwill every time you anticipate or think of a
situation or person that produces conflict.
